Task Instructions
1. Make sure aircraft is in a level area.
2. Center all controls to the neutral, static position and retract flaps to the 0° position.
3. Extend and lock the wings. Installation of the Horizontal Tail Tips and Removable Side Windows is optional but not required.
4. Close the canopy to prevent any movement while jacking the aircraft.
5. Verify all three jacks are in good functional condition with no leaks and can be locked into position.
a. Required height: It is approximately five feet from the wing hard point to the ground and 26 inches from the ground to the bottom of the tail support.
b. The LH and RH jacks may need special adapters to properly support the Wing Hard Jacking Points without risking damage to the laminate around the wings. If no adapter is available, ensure that the jack tips are between 1 5/16 and 2 inches, such that there is no risk of contact between the stand and the laminate around the wing jack points.
CAUTION:
It is strongly recommended that the tail adapter is used with all jacks to avoid risk of the tail sliding off the tail jack.

6. Install jack point adapters into the jack point receptacles on the underside of each wing and align jacks.

7. Install and secure the tail jack on the tail tie down point aft of the aircraft.

9. Jack the aircraft clear of the ground, so that the bubble level on the right floor support indicates a level condition.
Note:
The three jack points are: 1) under left wing, 2) under right wing, and 3) under the tail skid.
CAUTION:
The tail must be lifted—a stationary jack is not sufficient.
CAUTION:
Jack all three points up evenly—if multiple people are not available, lift each point a small amount at a time to keep all points approximately level.
10. Lock jacks in place. It is recommended to place V-block supports under the hull to prevent movement of the aircraft while on jacks.

Verification Method
