LOCTITE 243 (THREADLOCKER, PRIMERLESS, OIL TOL, REMOVABLE MED STR BLUE)
Task Instructions
1. Adjust pedals to full aft position and insert gas strut threads into pin carriage and forward composite floorboard support.
2. Apply Loctite 243 to threads.
3. Using pliers (and protective sleeve such as a shop towel), secure gas strut body/shaft from rotating and reinstall aft and forward nut with a 10 mm wrench/socket.
4. Torque nuts to 25 in-lbs.
Verification Method
Verify pedals adjust smoothly forward and aft.
